Mindful Wanders (Forest Bathing Walks)

Through the Winter months of November, December & January I am excited to invite you to join me outdoors in the forest for mindful nature connections walks.

Mindful Wanders are gentle yet uplifting guided walks through nature, with invitations of mindfulness nature connection exercises, reflective questions, walking and talking and a hot drink and healthy little snack. These walks provide multiple health benefits on both emotional and physical levels and are a wonderful escape from the daily demands of life…literally getting away from it all into wide open spaces to breathe deeply, notice beauty and feel the breeze on your face. I am offering several walks in November, if you’d like to attend more than one, please ensure to reserve your space for each separately - see links below.

Your walks are guided by Maeve Ferris, Forest Bathing Guide Trainee, Yoga & Mindfulness Teacher.

What to bring & wear: Please note the walk will go ahead no matter the weather! The only time we cancel is if there is a weather warning for the area. So dress for it!

  • Wear warm clothes, not your Sunday best! Bring 2 - 3 extra clothing layers that you can put on top of your base layers. We will be standing or sitting around for extended periods of time, so please heed my advice so you can be really comfy and cozy on the day :) For example, I wear thermal leggings and waterproof pants on top. Wooly socks & hiking boots. On top I wear a base layer, fleece, down jacket and rain jacket, hat and gloves. Please bring enough with you, better to have and not need them right?!

  • Hat & gloves

  • Rain gear (top and bottoms)

  • Hiking boots or good outdoor walking shoes as it can be a little rough and mucky in places. Wellies are good for rain but I find my feet get very cold in them - just a heads up!

What else to bring:

  • Water to drink

  • Small notebook & pen / pencil

  • Backpack to store your gear in so you can keep your hands free and relaxed

Who is it suitable for? This isn’t a hike or a long walk, it’s a gentle stroll. No experience is necessary. This is about getting back to basics, being out in Nature and feeling connected. Suitable for adults over the age of 18 years old. And as much as we love them, I’m sorry but it is not suitable for children. Also not suitable for dogs (even if on a lead). If you have any allergies, health concerns or dietary requirements, please notify me at least 3 days before the event.

Bookings: Essential please, to save your space please visit

Investment: These walks are free of charge for November & December whilst I am completing my training mentorship as a Forest Bathing Guide. The amount of people on each walk is limited and as part of my ongoing Forest Bathing Guide training I need to have a minimum number of participants on each walk so please only book your space if you can fully commit to attending no matter the weather :) And I promise you a mindful, deeply relaxing experience connecting with nature.

I look forward to walking it out with you!
