Autumn Celebration Event

autumn celebration.png

Autumn is a very special time of the year, nature slows down, the light retreats and we are invited to embrace the darkness. It's a time for reflection, for gathering closer to the fire and getting cozy. I invite you to see it as a time of celebration to mark the changing seaons. And as we near Samhain and Halloween, it's also an opportunity to remember our past and our traditions. Story-telling is engrained in our culture and heritage, we have shared and listened since time began and this year it's a honour to bring the traditions of Yoga, meditation and story-telling together by black & candle light on bank holiday Monday 25th October.

This special event also has one more surprise! GLOW FLOW! Yes it's gimmicky, yes it's a bit wacky but we all need some light hearted fun after a long, long spell of restiction. So let's celebrate this season with very non-traditional Autumn Glow Flow!

We are turning off the lights.

We are turning up the music.

We are turning on the GLOW!

Glow Flow Yoga:
This samhain season join us for Glow Flow Yoga, where you can dress up in your most annoying neons, blacks and whites or even costumes. Settle in for a evening of yoga, black lights, neon body colours, music and community. We provide the black lights and the body colours. Additional glow is highly encouraged! Please be mindful of the environment when choosing your glow (plastic glow sticks are not really the best choice). Arrive from 6.30pm, where you can paint you and your friends. Glow Flow including meditation is from 7pm - 8pm

Autumnal Meditation & Journaling:

Once you've moved, flowed, stretched and laughed, unwind in a deeply relaxing meditation to balance the yin energy, the quieter more introspective side within us. Essential Oils will be shared wtih you during this practice also to help you rest and restore. Bring your notepad and pen for some quiet journaling reflection time also.

Story Circle:

With a cup of herbal tea in your hand and some tasty nibbles, huddle to listen to tales of times past and present with award-winning Kerry Story-Teller in Residence Maria Gillan. She was a hugely popular at our Summer Solstice Celebration so it's my pleasure to welcome her back this season.
