I LOVE nothing more than sitting at the beach reading a book. And then dozing off with said book dropped onto my chest and having a nap - blissful! As I teach less classes over summer, I have more time to digest books and take my sweet time with them, so it’s perfect for dipping in and out of non-fiction reads that often take me longer to get through that light fiction.
Here are my recommended reads for summer:
Why Women Grow by Alice Vincent
We are the Ark by Mary Renolds
Flourishing by Dr. Maureen Gaffney
The Things You Can See Only When You Slow Down by Haenim Sunim
Rest: Why you get more done when you work less by Alex Soojung-Kim Pang
Slow at Work by Aoife McElwain
Enchantment by Katherine May
Will to Wild by Shelby Stanger
In Her Nature by Rachel Hewitt
Ebb & Flow by Easkey Britton
I’d love to hear your book recommendations for summer! Let me know in the comments below or if you’ve enjoyed any of these on my list above.
Happy reading!
