Welcome to Ebb & Flow Yoga’s new 21 Day Spring Journaling Course

As we step onwards through Spring, it is a time for growth & new life. A time for reawakening after Winter and there is a sense of renewed hope in the air. It's the perfect time for planning, sowing seeds for the months to come and for exploring. I invite you to join me during April to pause, reflect & plan for this season ahead in a new 21 Day Spring Journaling Course.

One of the biggest revelations of the last 12 months of living through a pandemic has been a universal yearning for self-care and for true connection with ourselves and others. Journaling & meeting others in a weekly virtual Circle Group is a safe, highly effective way of going within & re-connecting.

What you can look forward to:

I’ve created exciting new themes drawn from my passions, interests and areas of experience and crafted them into three areas for exploration just for you. Each week has an associated theme and you will receive a daily email with practice ideas and journaling prompts for you consider and write about in relation to yourself and your inner world. The first email of each week also includes a Wild Connection & Personal Practice.

Each week I’ll invite you to gather and set intentions or sow the seeds if you will, relating to  what you draw from our themes.

Week 1: Heart of Nature

In our modern, busy, stressful lives we tend to insulate ourselves from nature. We often refer to nature as a separate entity - something we admire, study, avoid or paint - it feels as though we removed ourselves from it. One of my missions is to invite and encourage you to reconnect during this course - not only to yourself but to Nature, it's beauty & rhythm and, to feel again that you are part of it, not separate from it.

Explore your relationship with our natural world and how it intertwines with your identity. It’s a really beautiful week full creative journaling prompts but invites to immerse yourself outdoors and discover.

Week 2: Creative Soul

Everyone is creative, but not every is in-tune with their own creativity. Give yourself the time & space to tap into the creative soul within you and how to lean into these aspects to help you destress, find space, learn about yourself, try new ideas and experience a range of different practices. You don’t need to be an artist for this – I’m not! Please come with an open mind and enjoy what arises!

Week 3: Body & Mind

Our body is our home, this week we will delve into movement, food and much more. I’ll be inviting you to journal around various topics, your relationship with your body & mind and encourage you to try a range of different movement & meditation practices (all very accessible and suitable for beginners).

Week 4+: Keep Creating!

Though this is technically a 21 Day Course, I share with you some further suggestions on how to continue a regular (if not daily!) journaling practice and some themes you might like to continue to explore for yourself.

How it works:

  • Daily Prompts

Each day from Monday – Friday you’ll receive an early morning email to your inbox containing journaling prompts based on our weekly theme. On Saturday & Sunday your emails will include invitations to try different styles of creative writing & journaling, introducing you to a range of different approaches.

  • Community

Every Thursday 7.30pm - 8.30pm (8th, 15th , 22nd, 29th April) I invite you to join me on a live Zoom call to gather in Community and chat about your experience and insights during the Course. Each gathering will include a simple meditation or movement practice also and sharing in circle. Please note these will NOT be recorded due to the sharing aspect of these gatherings. By the way, these were the most popular part of each course I’ve run!

  • Wild Connection

Each week I invite you to embark upon a practice to help you connect to yourself & to Nature. You will receive one practice suggestion each week to complete in your own time.

  • Personal Practice

I’ll share a practice or suggestion each week with you to complete in your own time. It may be a movement class, meditation, a recipe etc.

  • Support

Facebook Group: You’ll have optional access to a private Facebook Group for the duration of the 3 weeks to share photos, ideas, have a chat and connect.

Email Support: I am here for you via email right through this 21 Day Course for any questions, insights or support you may need help with.

  • Bonus Extras

I tend to give a lot in terms of follow up links, reading materials etc so I’ll be sharing lots of different references with you should you wish to go down the rabbit hole!

Just a notepad, pen, some art materials (eg) markers / paints / pens / colour pencils (whatever you are drawn to) & 20 mins per day!

Investment:

This 21 Day + Journaling Course costs €59 (early bird rate available until 31st March & €69 there after. This includes all of the above (except your art materials!). That’s just €2.68 per day!
