Salute the sun together on Banna Beach to welcome in the longest day of the year - Summer Solstice on 21st June and also International Day of Yoga, which aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing yoga.
To mark this beautiful and significant day, join me on the sand in the early morning to practice sun salutations towards the rising sun, with the backdrop of the ocean waves to soothe you.
This class is donation based - you can register (to receive reminders) for no charge and I'd appreciate your donations on the day.
This class is a gently guided class with light instructions. We begin at 7.15am with a grounding meditation, I'll guide you through a few different styles of sun salutations for you to try and then we practice in silence together to the sound of the waves. We finish with a quiet meditation and breathwork to set you up for your day. We finish at 8am.
Where to meet: At the lifeguard hut in Banna Beach Main Carpark
What to bring: Yoga mat, blanket, layers of clothes (it is Ireland after all!) and a bottle of water to sip on, your swimming gear & towel if you fancy a dip and perhaps your breakfast to have on the sand together
Suitable for: Everyone! Beginners are very welcome
Bookings: No required, you can just come along, but if you like to get email reminders, do sign up :) there's no charge to sign up.
See you on the 21st June :)
